I am pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at Singapore Management University (SMU) under the supervision of Associate Professor Hady Lauw in his research group – Preferred.AI.
Preferred.AI is active in artificial intelligence, data mining, and machine learning, focusing on Web mining, preference analytics, and recommender systems supported by the Singapore National Research Foundation (NRF) through an NRF Fellowship.
Before this, I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) majoring in both Operations and Analytics from SMU. During this time I did my internships at Far East Organization to study and evaluate the feasibility of multi-million dollar projects and at Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore to prepare their data for their new customer-relationship management system.
I possess a Six Sigma Green Belt certification, which I obtained through working on a consultancy project with WRIST Far East. I have also done business consulting and analytical projects with Singapore Pools and Zaobao.
I am grateful to be where I am today and I could not have done it without the help of all my mentors in every portion of my life.
